Here at Angel Cat Pet Adoptions animals are our top priority. We believe they all deserve a warm bed, good food, medical care and someone to love them for all their lives. We exist to prevent animals from being abused, tortured, ignored, starved, beaten, caged, hunted or exploited in any way.
We provide a service to the community and educate pet owners and the public in general about proper care and treatment of animals. We support and urge enforcement of animal cruelty laws and work diligently for the passing of legislation for mandatory spay/neuter laws in our state.
We seek loving “forever” homes for stray, unwanted and abandoned animals through our adoption program which includes a health screening by a veterinarian and screening of potential adoptive parents to help make sure that the pet and it’s new owner are compatible. If for any reason an adoption does not work out, we absolutely take the pet back into one of our loving foster homes and seek another home. No questions asked.
As we all know, pet overpopulation is a big problem in our communities and we at Angel Cat Pet Adoptions always have our adoptable pets spayed and neutered. We work with several local veterinarians who perform low cost services in conjunction with our organization and this program has prevented hundreds of unwanted litters from being born.
We are an “all volunteer” organization and we work very hard on a daily basis to offer information and education to pet owners so they know the dangers of unknowingly giving up their animals over the internet to unscrupulous animal dealers posing as “nice people looking to adopt”, who in turn sell the animals into medical laboratories and worse. Our adoptable animals live in foster homes and we make sure they are safe, happy and healthy while waiting for adoption. We also make humane decisions for the animals in our care to make sure they are taken care of in the best way possible.
Donations are always needed and greatly appreciated. We are a registered 501(c)(3) non-profit organization and donations are tax-deductible. We are happy to mail you a tax-deductible receipt.
